Excision announced the festival in March 2018 with the Gorge and Live Nation, and built it around a single stage called the Paradox. The promoter made a selling point of it at the time: one stage meant no set time conflicts, which is the opposite of how every other festival at this site works. It is also why this page has one column instead of three.

He played three times across the weekend. A Friday headline set, an afternoon Detox set on the Sunday, and a back to back with NGHTMRE to close the festival.

PK Sound, the festival’s PA vendor, put attendance at 18,000 over four nights of camping, and its own release describes half a million watts hung over the canyon. Dance Music NW’s review of the weekend reports that a floor rail broke during the Friday afternoon back to back and was repaired mid-set, with the crew rebuilding the barricade setup for the two days after.
