The Set Times is video-first journalism from the Pacific Northwest dance music scene — Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, and everything under the clouds between. Shows happen in this region regardless of weather. So does our coverage.

We write from the floor, not the press release. Recaps come with original footage because we shot it ourselves. We name the openers. We publish set times when we can get them. If a piece covers an event we were hired to film, it says so in the first lines.

The rules

• Every claim is witnessed or attributed.
• No pay-to-play. Coverage is not for sale.
• No stock media — every visual is ours or credited with permission.
• No-photo policies at underground events are honored completely.
